Campaign Launch Party
LAUNCH PARTY
We are saddened to report that due to a severe case of pneumonia, Professor Elie Wiesel has been hospitalized and will be unable to join us February 1st for the Take Back Zionism Launch Party. We continue to hold Professor Wiesel in our thoughts and wish him a speedy recovery. Our new featured speaker will be Dr. Michael B. Oren, Ambassador of Israel to the United States, speaking that night through a live video feed. Dr. Oren will be joined as planned by Birthright Israel Co-Founder Michael Steinhardt, and Israel's Consul General in New York, Ido Aharoni. Because this campaign is of the utmost importance to Professor Wiesel, if health allows he will draft a written statement that we will share at the event and he will join us in the Spring for a future Take Back Zionism event. We look forward to sharing a wonderful evening with you on February 1st.
